News: SUNOCO ATF for ZF multistage automatic transmissions

World-famous German company ZF (Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen) produces reliable transmission systems. These are 6 and 8 speed automatic transmissions ZF 6HPxxx, ZF 8HPxxx, which are used in BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche, VW / Audi cars and many others.

Reliable and failure-free operation of these units is provided by special oils – automatic transmission fluids (ATF). Automatic transmissions ZF, as a rule, filled with oil for the entire period of operation. However, because of the many factors that affect life, ZF recommends an oil change for its transmissions after 150,000 km. In operating conditions with high temperatures and loads, or with an unknown history of vehicle use in the past, it makes sense to change the transmission fluid at shorter intervals. Operational experience shows that the optimal period for changing fluids in today’s realities is 60,000 km of mileage.
