What the meanig of «Mass content of water»?
Mass content of water is an indicator of the presence of water impurities in the oil measured in percent. Water can negatively affect the corrosive properties of oils, the formation of low-temperature sludge, and the formation of foam. For oils the limiting value for the presence of water is 0.05%; 0.03..0.05% is defined as traces of water; less than 0.03% – its absence.
