What the meanig of «Semi-synthetic oil»?
Semi-synthetic oils are blends of mineral and synthetic and/or hydrocracked oils. The blend usually contains 10-30% synthetic oil and the rest is mineral oil. Semi-synthetic oils offer a balance of the benefits of mineral and synthetic oils. They offer better engine protection than mineral oils, but are not as expensive as fully synthetic oils. However, semi-synthetic oils may not provide the same level of performance as fully synthetic oils in extreme conditions.
