Why is it important to change coolant?
The coolant gradually loses its effectiveness over extended use. Neglecting timely replacement puts your cooling system at risk, leading to overheating and potential engine damage. How often should the coolant be changed?
The recommended coolant change interval depends on the type specified by your vehicle manufacturer. For glycol-based coolant, it’s advisable to replace it every 40,000 kilometers or every two years of use. Alternatively, organic-based coolant can be changed every 80,000 kilometers, thanks to its extended additive effectiveness.
